Contrary to the name, this will not actually be the last HOPE conference. The theme was inspired by news that the Hotel Pennsylvania would be sold and demolished. This was supposedly meant the conference would be left with no alternative location to host the event due to pricing. While questionable, it's recently been discovered the plans to sell the hotel have fallen through. The hotel will remain for the time being and HOPE conferences will likely continue on the bi-annual schedule in 2010.

The badges this year will contain RFID tags and will be used in a contest based around the conference theme. More details to follow.
[edit] Travel
BoltBus is a new bus carrier operating between NYC and Boston. Pricing is competitive with FungWah and LuckyStar. In addition they provide internet access and increased legroom over typical coach buses.
